Furnace Oil (FO)
Furnace Oil is being used as a fuel in various industrial applications like Blast Furnace, Boilers, Rolling Mills, Steel Industry, Aluminum, Forging Industries, Pharmaceutical Industry, Galvanizing Plant, Hot Mix Plants, Textile Industries, Explosives and Various Industries.
Reliance Furnace Oil is much cleaner fuel vis-a-vis other companies FO with respect to sediment. Metal & water content
Benefits of using Reliance Furnace Oil is:
- It helps in low maintenance in burner & furnace refractory
- Low Sulphur reduces environmental pollution and longer life of furnace
- Lower metal content which contributes better furnace & burner life
Applications: As fuel FO is use for Boilers/ Heaters/ Preheaters/ Furnaces for heat generation, Bunker Fuels by Ships
Low Sulphur Heavy Stock (LSHS)
- The main advantage in the use of LSHS lies is its low sulphur content as compared to FO.
- The main difference with LSHS and FO is the higher pour point.
- Higher calorific value.
- The gross calorific value of LSHS is slightly higher than that of FO. Also, LSHS is a low viscosity fuel oil at handling temperature when compared with the FO. It is measured at 100 deg C.
Also, LSHS is a low viscosity fuel oil at handling temperature when compared with the FO. It is measured at 100 deg C.
Reliance LSHS is having low Sulphur content, with low Ash content as well.
FO & LSHS of 180 cSt Quality available
Light Diesel Oil (LDO)
The Product is excellent with respect following parameters:
- High Density [0.892] Remarks: Product is sold in KL therefore you will get more energy value.
- Low Sulphur
- Low Ash
- High Flash
Carbon Black Feed Stock (CBFS)
Carbon black feed stock (CBFS) is the heavy hydrocarbon mix (mostly C9 to C15 fraction and higher) bottom product of Naphtha cracker unit.
CBFS is the Liquid Fuel Grade Petroleum Product to be used as the strongest, economical, energy efficient, non-polluted alternate of Furnace Oil.
CBFS is mainly used for the production of carbon black which is used in the manufacture of tyres. It can also be used in foundry processes as a fuel in rotary furnace & rolling mill furnaces.
CBFS produced at Reliance Hazira Plant, as a by-product from the Naphtha Cracker.
Application: A small portion of this product is also used by processors to make various downstream chemicals like White Oil, etc.
CBFS used for manufacture of Carbon.
Also use in Steel & Alloys, Ceramics & silica, Paper Industries, Aluminum Industries, Chemical Industries, Glass industries, Re-Rolling Mill.
C-9 Solvent
Aromatic hydrocarbons have a distinctive aromatic odour and a typical Gardner colour of 6 – 10 (dark yellow to dark brown).
They are insoluble in water, low alcohols and ketones, however are soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents.
Applications: The products will serve a broad range of industries and applications like Paints and Coatings, Printing Inks and Reducers, Offset inks, Agro-chemicals, Surfactants, Emulsifiers, Oil Field Chemicals, Foundry Chemicals, Water Treatment Chemicals, Disinfectants, Wash Oils, etc. They are also used for hot road markings. The end user markets for this product are the paints, coatings and rubber industries
Mix Xylene
It is mainly used as a synthesis intermediate or as a solvent by the chemical industry.
Mixed-Xylene may be present in some consumer products (such as coatings, cleaning agents, agrochemicals).
Appearance is Clear liquid free of sediment & haze observed at 18 to 26°C, Distillation range IBP – 136.1 °C & Distillation range dry point 138.0 °C. Flash point (Able CC) 26.0 °C
Application: It is primarily used as a solvent (a liquid that can dissolve other substances) in the printing, rubber, and leather industries. Along with other solvents, xylene is also widely used as a cleaning agent, a thinner for paint, and in varnishes
High Speed Diesel (HSD)
a) RIL have already established a credibility to Indian Railways for supply of Diesel to various Railway Consumer Depots. RIL had participated in Railway tender in 2013 and was awarded a significant share out based on competitive offer. Under Year 2016 tender RIL has emerged as second largest supplier to Railways supplying nearly 30000 KLPM.
b) RIL commenced direct sale of HSD to over 300+ bulk HSD customer all over the country & are currently selling over 90000 KLPM to industrial consumers spread across the country
c) RIL supply network is geared up to ensure reliability of supplies across all geographies through a well spread-out network of supply points. Other than Jamnagar refinery at Gujarat we are having 22 major supply points spread across 17 states.
d) Tank Trucks used for transportation of HSD are fitted with tamper proof security locks. Reliance assures you our best services with respect to supply continuity, timely delivery and maintaining Q&Q.
For Bulk supply of High-speed Diesel requires;
i. Setup of Consumer Pump, i.e Tank and Dispenser Unit in your factory premises.
ii. With Valid Explosive License of Petroleum & Explosive Safety Organization.
